Besides being accessible via well-known travel agent booking systems, such as Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, and Worldspan, Europcar is also accessible for bookings via an online site specially designed for travel agents.

As a travel agent, you can benefit from using our booking site in two different manners:

1. You make bookings online for your customers. The procedure is fast and simple. With your IATA or agency number (assuming you have an agency agreement with us) and a password of your choice, you can access the booking site. If you do not already have an agency number or IATA number, we request that you send us an email.

2. With an agreement you can issue vouchers simply - SUPER DRIVE. The sooner you book, the cheaper your client can fly. Pls. send us an e-mail with a request for an agreement.

Information regarding online booking

Our objective with the travel agent booking site is to provide you a tool that enables you to serve our common clients quickly, easily and competently.

You can make new reservations, cancel or rebook existing reservations, or simply initiate a price query. When doing so, you can enter a company contract number. If you do not enter such a number, the system will always automatically give you the best rate.

You receive booking confirmations by e-mail, which you can easily forward to your clients. You only need to enter your IATA or agency number in the login window in order to access our site. You can specify your own password.

Online booking offers you the following advantages:

• convenient entry of booking data
• convenient overview of rates and included services
• lower operational costs (lower telephone bills, reduced administrative overhead, reduced training needs)
• in contrast to GDS, special equipment features for our passenger cars can be booked online
• round-the-clock availability
• booking confirmation by e-mail

Product information

Regardless of whether you book using the GDS system, by telephone, or online, you always receive the best rate corresponding to the query criteria without having to enter a contract number. This rate is guaranteed in the corresponding national currency as soon as you confirm the reservation for your client.

The rates normally include:

• unlimited kilometres
• liability insurance
• all-risks coverage
• theft coverage
• permits and fees
• regional taxes

The rates normally do not include:

• fuel (petrol or diesel)
• airport service fee
• personal accident insurance
• own risk for all-risks and theft coverage
• other supplementary optional costs

The following payment options are available to your and your clients:

• The travel agent can generate an itemised defined-value voucher, with billing to the travel agent.
• The travel agent can generate a full-credit voucher, with billing to the travel agent.
• The client can pay at the rental location by credit card, with billing to the company or client (depending on the stored data).
• The client can pay at the rental location using a Europcar Charge Card, with billing to the company or client (depending on the stored data). In each case (with exceptions for subcompact cars), the client must present a current credit card for the security deposit. A specific amount will be blocked on his credit card for the deposit. This process is not equivalent to a payment; it only serves to secure the amount.

One-way rentals

Europcar is represented in many international cities. This makes it possible for rental cars to make one-way trips between major cities and between countries. Depending on national regulations, a fee may be charged for this.
